Questions

Routebook sends your stops to Mapbox's routing engine and splits the resulting drive across the days you've set, estimating drive time, distance, and fuel cost per leg as you add or reorder stops.
Routebook flags a day that's turned into a brutal drive and offers to move the boundary stop to a neighbouring day. A separate "Optimize day" button (Plus and Family) reorders a day's stops for minimum drive time, keeping your fixed overnight stop in place.
